I truly am sorry to hear of this news. When I read your first post, I said "Oh NO" aloud. Then I went down, and read that he passed....It brought tears to my eyes.

I know nothing I (or anyone) says can bring you comfort. I just wanted to tell you that I know what you're going thru. When I was eighteen, my Daddy died of Cancer. I am the youngest of three girls, and his "little girl", which he continued calling me up until before his death...So I was very close with him. I know how hard this is. Altough, I know it must be different when it's so sudden like that. How old was your Dad, if you don't mind me asking??

You, and your family are truly in my thoughts.

My dad was 53. My brother hasn't even turned 8 yet!! Thank you all so much...he was a amazing man and I miss and love him dearly. But his spirit is still here and I can see him smiling at me.

i can empathise with u. My dad passed away 2 yrs ago of liver cancer. He was 49.

Thanks girls...it's just so shocking. I'm in shock right now. I feel so bad for my mom. All my relatives are here, and it's nice to have someone to hold me. I remember laying on my dad's stomach, and this morning his last words to me were "are you feeling okay?". Kind of ironic. But he left footprints on everyone's heart, he was such a sweet man. I love him, and miss him. But only his body is gone. His soul, his love, and his beauty are still here. Thanks again xx.

It has been 11 years since I lost my father in the same way. I do know how you are feeling and I am truly so sorry. He had just turned 60 and now my mother has a rare highly aggressive cancer. I will keep you in my prayers.
