Ok so today's the 3rd day of Eid and tomorrow is the last day.

But my boss gave me a gift for the Eid on Friday before I left work ... it was a $200 giftcard to Bloomingdales!! I was sooo excited because nobody gives me presents for the Eid anymore since I'm not a lil kid. hehe. Anyway I was planning on buying a new LV purse but I realized I have to save money for my Vegas trip in a few weeks so I just bought MAC stuff.

hehe i work at an office but my boss is super nice. every eid he gives out presents like it's nothing. last year he sent our account (who has been workin for him since forever) to lebanon cuz she hasn't seen her family in years. so hopefully next year he'll send me to palestine haha.

hehe yea we have two Eids ... one is called Eid ul-Fitr which is the celebration of the end of Ramadan. The second Eid, which started on Saturday is called Eid ul-Adha and it's a four day holiday. It's celebrating the end of Hajj and remembering Prophet Ibrahim's (Abraham) willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael (Isaac) for God.

Basically it's like we get two Christmas celebrations hehe. Only thing that sucks is once you get a lil older ur family stops giving u presents and they stick to giving gifts to the lil kids.

yeah i kinda get jipped from the grandparents because i have two kids and they get all the presents, but since i got married by hubby and i get giftcards and stuff, and he and my mom still have to spoil me... awesome haul BTW!!!!!
