My eyeshape...How to do a cat's eye (or should I avoid it altogether)?

My eyes are large/almond shaped, and protrude out....one eye has more lid and is slightly droopier than the other (so they are different shapes).

I keep trying to do a "cat eye" with blacktrack, penultimate liner, pencil...you name it...It doesn't work

I stretch the eyes out with my fingers while applying the liner too...Sigh. Check out my eyeshape...should I just give up altogether?

Any e/s placement tips? All advice appreciated

I don't get defensive.

PS please excuse the brows...I am growing them out but will get them trimmed today

have you tried closing your eyes and applying the liner along your lashline? it sounds to me like maybe you are applying too much pressure? i'm not sure. it's hard to say without seeing you do it.

I think she meant that no matter what she can't figure out the right shape of liner for her eyes. I have the same problem, no matter what kind of flick I get at the end it doesn't look right at all.

My eyes have the same crease that goes right down to the bottom of my eye and makes it look awkward like a fold in my liner.

It's hard to say for certain, because I can't see a full on, open eyed picture of you, but it *may* help if you line your bottom waterline in black, and just make the line under your lower lashes a bit thinner...it should create the illusion of a longer eye. Also, don't know if you've tried it already, but try pulling your liner in toward your inner corners a bit, as well, sort of in an arabic style. HTH! GL sweetie!
