i've only really started wearing different shades of e/s recently - i've always been a 1 shade over the lids kinda chick.. so i need some help. it looks pretty decent in real life but looking at these pics, i realized that i kinda suck.. esp at blending, but other things as well. ok look, until i took these pictures i never realized how lame my application is. anyway.. so here are a couple pics i took... completely neutral and work safe.

I think you did a good job, great color choices. The only thing I would suggest is to blend more where the highlight and the brown (mulch) color meet.

I know this sounds extravagant but what I did when I was first blending is to use really offbeat colors so I can see exactly where I am not blending- granted I usually did this to just be at home and practice. But I love these colors on you and you have such beautiful hair! ooh jealous!

I used to be the same way! I never knew what the hell I was doing, but sites like this one have helped me with my technique.
CHeck out the tutorials and practice practice practiceee is the best way to learn.

I think the colors look really good on you, and, since someone already mentioned blending, I'll just say

I recommend also trying the 217 brush to highlight your browbone. I love your color choices!
