Hi guys!

Yesterday I used the Live Chat and I was so amazed by the sweet MA! So amazed that I have to show you our conversation!

info: Please hold for one of our Artists to respond.
info: Hello. Thank you for your interest in M·A·C Cosmetics. My name is Barbara. How may I assist you?
Linda: Hi Babara! I'm trying to create a nude look for my lips!
Barbara: Hi Linda! I am happy to provide you with additional information on creating a M•A•C look. However, I would like to inform you that M•A•C Cosmetics Online is currently unable to ship outside of the United States and Canada. I strongly recommend you visit a M•A•C Cosmetics store location in your country and consult with a M•A•C artist in person. They will demonstrate and recommend first hand the products most suitable for you. M•A•C offers complimentary consultations at all locations. Click here for our store locator page.
Linda: I'd love to use a lipglass...
Barbara: Absolutely, have you used our Lipglass before?
Linda: Yes, I use the Viva Glam V lipglass
Linda: and thats nearly my lipcolour
Barbara: Ooooh, that is one of my favourites. Let me give you an alternate suggestion, one moment please.
Linda: I love it too and it should not be my last one...:)
Barbara: You can never have too many Lipglasses Linda! For a nude lip look on your fair colouring, pair Spice Lip Pencil with Lust Lipglass. Very pretty.
Linda: Some of my friends told me to use a foundation or a concealer on my lips to make them really nude. What do you think about it?
Barbara: You can definitely do that however, I mostly suggest that for customers who have an uneven lip line and want to start "fresh" before applying lip liner.
Linda: No I dont have an uneven lipline....
Barbara: Lucky you. Then I would just go with lip products directly on the lips.
Linda: OK thank you so much....do you have any further information about the fluidline! I've heard that they wont be available until June...
Barbara: Yes, regrettably there is a delay. Have you tried it at all?
Linda: No! I was lucky enough to buy Rich Ground on my counter and I found a Blacktrack on Ebay for a good price! I totally love them!
Linda: And D'Bohemia comes around with a new one, right?
Barbara: You are resourceful Linda - right, D'Bohemia is coming out with a new colour.
Linda: Yes thank you! I have very good sources! We know it all! I'm also looking forward to the Tailormade brush sets... when will they be available? Do you know that already?
Barbara: I see that you are a true MAC Girl Linda. Give me a moment and I'll find the Tailormade information for you.
Linda: Yes that might be....:)
Barbara: Tailormade looks to be introduced sometime mid summer. I'm excited about that one too!
Linda: I really like the idea of releasing two different brush sets!! Oh yes I have another question: Is there any opportunity to make LE's permanent?
Linda: Like petitions or something like that?
Barbara: Linda, excuse my silliness - LE = Liquid Eyeliners?
Linda: no limited edition....
Barbara: Of course! Yes, we always take customer needs, wants and feedback seriously. You can email us through our site with your desires on Limited Editions.
Linda: Alright thank you soo much! Keep on doing what you're doing! I adore all of the MAC products... Thanks again! Have a lovely Thursday!
Barbara: Thank you for your visit Linda! You may close the chat window by clicking the "X" at top right once. You will be able to request that a copy of this chat be emailed to you as well as answer a few questions about your experience.

You have to go to the website (and because I see that you're from Austria...) you have to change your country into USA on the bottom of the front page (Country Chooser)!
Afterwards you'll see a link that says "View Bag", click on it and then you should read this: "View Shipping Rates, Tax Information. For immediate product related questions, click here to chat live with a M·A·C Online Makeup Artist between the hours of 10 am and 10 pm EST. If you would prefer to finish your order by phone, please call 1-800-588-0070. "

Hmmm, that all sounded so formal, it made me wonder if it was all real, or if they had several generic things they could click on. Anyways, I wonder if they would give us some info as to whether or not the new tailor made collection will be available at Bay stores in Canada

ROFL...It wouldnt be so funy if it werent true!!

Thats cool that you had a good experience with them. I find anything *live chat* is basically a canned text (scripted), and tends to be informative to a point. I think you knocked their socks off by talking about the new collections, I think they expect us all to be oblivious to the upcoming collections :X

It's the real deal, I've talked to quite a few of the artists on live chat, and they are always just that quick and friendly and helpful, even when ya throw 'em a curve ball at times. 8)

I'd recommend the live chat to anyone who hasn't tried it out yet. MAC is the absolute best at customer service.
