I think you just need to shy away from shimmers as it can enhance more mature skin and use a very natural basic look.

Actually, why not give her a subtle pink look? Pink goes great with brown imho. Not like sushi flower bright lol... But a subtle pink in the inner eye, (prolly use a matte pink for her, something less frosty). Little darker pink in the crease and like a brown blended in the outer V.

Just cuz she's older doesn't mean she can't use a little color.
