I've done so much to my hair-flat iron, bleaching, stripping, blow drying. This past summer I kind of went a lil weird after a break up with my on again, off again BF (do NOT get your hair done after break ups. trust me) and had all the color stripped out of my hair and went blonde. Well lots of lil blonde highlights. Come November I was tired of the upkeep and the look-it just didn't suit me. So I went brunette again. Needless to say my hair had the texture of cotton candy.
I have spent thousands on hair products, literally. From Joico to A & G to Paul Mitchell to Redken to L'OREAL , matrix, biolage, bed head, LUSH, all the sally brands-
The one I always keep coming back to is bumble and bumble coconut shampoo and conditioner. I have never found anything else that makes my hair shine like a magazine ad and feel so soft. Combined with a bit of ferouk silk therapy I can even flat iron it on occasion now, and more importantly it looks nice even when air dried.
I don't know why I continue to waste my $$ on other products-I think it's because at 30 bucks PER BOTTLE of each I balk at the idea of spending that much on my hair. So I give in to the urge to try something else and regret it, goes into the big pile of "stuff I use when short on money or travel or something"
If you are mean to your hair and find that it's damaged and frizzy and doesn't look good no matter what give it a try and tell me what you think. They have trial sized products at the salon I get it from.
