i think the complete name is Statistical Package for Social Sciences... its a program to perform statistic tests, used widely in psychology

it is supposed to be über cool, but numbers and I just don't get along, so i can't learn how to use it hahahaha

Ahh, sweet SPSS. After taking a class last semester which was based largely on using it (it does stand for the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) I was bored and did some analyses of my cosmetics collection (comparing product types, color families, etc.) and discovered that I most frequently buy green-based eye products. Me=dork.

I'm pretty sure it must be an awesome program, for what i've learned to use (and it is minimal) it's very interesting and very functional, but i just can't seem to be able to understand either SPSS or statistics

aaww thanks!!! I love my eyes too, I think they're my best feature

I'm totally down with the SPSS hatred!

I have to use it all the time for many of my psyc classes and loathe it, although I suppose its easier than doing it all by hand . Im glad theres others here who understand!
