omg I'm dieing to try this line but I really really need to cut on my spending habits. (LIKE REALLY HAHA) I'm trying to get my cousin a job at Sephora JUST so I can get the hook up on MUFE. haha sad huh? I'm basically pimping my cousin out for make-up.

Do the Star Powders stick and last long? How would you compare them to MAC pigments?

they last long as long as you use a good base. they're a lot softer than most of the MAC pigments, so you don't have to dust off as much product and risk fallout. and they can be sheer. I like to use mine to highlight my skin =) i have #917 which is like a burgundy/cranberry color, 926 which is a pinky golden beige, and #902 which looks white, but turns up a subtle gold color.

What are your thoughts on the foundation? How does it hold up over the course of a day? Is it natural looking? etc. I'm thinking about trying it but I really want to try the face and body foundation

i bought it today. i put it on at Sephora, wore it home, and I just washed it off about an hour ago, and it stayed matte for those 3 or 4 hours that I had it on. It's very natural looking, the color looked too light when i initially applied it, but it deepened as it dried. the one that looked right in the bottle was way too dark when it dried. and i'm really diggin the pressed powder compact, but i didnt have enough money to get it. but the foundation's really nice. i'm gonna wear it to work tomorrow and I'm working from 1 to 10pm so i'll update and let you guys know how it works out =)

I keep hearing y'all say good things about MUFE, but it's so expensive....I was going down the product list like, "Damn, is anything a single-digit price!??!" I guess I've been getting discounts too damn long, LOL. I just broke down and bought a Nars duo, but I will be calling my friends at Nordstrom when I buy another....

It's expensive, but I would say it's worth it. Very high pigmentation, and their foundations are good for studio work, but unlike MACs, the majority of them are oil free and non-comedogenic. I have not seen mineral oil in any of the foundation ingredients list; but I have in MACs foundations and concealers. Quite frankly, I wish I'd known how harmful this ingredient was, because I certainly would have invested in something better to put on my face. You can't put a price on good skin; it's the first thing people see about you, so it should be taken care of.

I love MUFE foundations too. I actually prefer them to mac. My favorite is the velvet matte foundation, but the face and body is great too. I just like the finish of the velvet matte. My all-time favorite product is the super loose matte powder (yeah, I know I am always going on about this stuff) It is so sheer you can't tell you are wearing powder at all, but it finishes foundation perfectly and leaves you with a soft matte finish. It doesn't make you look flat though, if that makes sense. It just looks like my skin, but better. A little product goes a long way, so as far as price goes, it works out pretty cheap in the end. I have been using my super loose powder for well over a year and have hardly used up any. It will probably go bad before I finish the container lol. The same goes for the full cover concealor. It is pricey, but a tiny dab covers a large area. Love love love MUFE.
