My problem

I used to be blonde and I can't afford a salon so I've died my hair. It's like a reddish color and my natural hair color is a bit darker. and I've tried to dye it lighter but the color doesn't change. and My mom is good at hair dressing and can do things good and I'm thinking about getting it cut and then her doing the color for me but I want like different colors in it and if the color doesn't change when I've done it, how can I get it to change now at home?

Maybe you can try bleaching it, then dying it the color you want. But I highly recommend that you dont bleach it yourself, try to get to a salon or consult a stylist.
