Naked You SkinFinish

Hi - I just got my skinfinishes today and I'm wondering whether this is normal...
My NY skinfinish only has two splotches of the amber/bronzey veins... There are LOTS of silver/grey veins ... Is this normal? would it be ok to exchange it for one that has some more bronzey veins ? I haven't exchanged anything at MAC before, so I'm just wondering whether it would be ok....

They probably all vary. I don't think the veiningmake much difference. The veining has gotten much more subtle in my MSFs after use.

See, I saw this today - not a big fan of it like I thought I would be -- its to dark ( imo ) but Petticoat - WOW its simply bea-----uti --- FUL! GET IT WHY YA CAN!!

It's normal, they should all vary because of they way they were made. I don't believe the color would be hindered either.....

Is anyone else disappointed with Naked You? The texture is chunky and almost glittery. And barely any color shows up on me, and I'm only NW20. Hmmm.

Don't return it. The veining really varies from each individual skinfinish. I don't really think it's a big deal.

Don't return it. The veining doesn't really make much difference anyway.

I'm an NW15 and use NY as a bronzer! certainly shows up fore me! I love it....

I went into my counter yesterday to get it and went home armed with two lipsticks instead - i found it to be chunky and glittery as well. Can't wait to get Petticoat from my friend in NY tho (cheaper yay!).

I'm NC25 and I found a problem with the colour as well...so did my friend Catherine^ who is an NW20 i believe. Hmmmm. Disappointing, but financially beneficial!

yeah i was disappointed with it cause i really wanted it but it was chunky and the color just didn't show up on me. but i adore petticoat

Yea, it was funny cuz i didnt think i would like Petticoat but i really wanted Naked You. So i got both, and when i tried them on at home i found Naked You to be WAY to glittery, the silver glitter just went everywhere!!

I blew into the pan to try to get some of the glitter off and this big poof of glitter went flying. So i exchanged it for Of Corset! and Body Suit. I loooove Petticoat btw.

^ yeah, it doesnt look glittery on though...not that I can tell. makes a nice bronzer...i actually went back and bought Petticoat!

The veins don't do much––actually, I prefer mine to have less, as the pigmentation of the veins are a lot rougher, chunkier and glittery-er, and I prefer my MSFs to provide as smooth and buffed a texture as possible. But, MAC MAs are understanding––I'm sure if you wanted to exchange a BNIB product, they'd let you!

They all vary. Mine has more bronze veins than my sisters, but they turn up the same once I put them on. i wouldn't worry about it. But if you really hate it, take it back.

I'm in love with mine. But I think it may go better w/ darker tones. My MU lady said that Naked You suits more mid-dark tones and Petticoat is more flattering on lighter tones. I'm NC35 and I'm in L*O*V*E w/ Naked You. It compliments my skin really well and I haven't had a problem w/ chunkiness or too much glitter as some people have said. I'm sure it all depends!
