Napoleon Perdis - Accused of faking!

Okay, I know there are alot of fake cosmetics circulating Ebay and similar sites but largely these are for internationally well known companies like MAC. I recently sold a once used Napoleon Perdis gel eyeliner on Trademe (NZ Ebay) and have just had an email from the buyer telling me she believes the case is genuine Napoleon Perdis but that I have tricked her and placed a faked eyeliner in the pot! I know I shouldn't take this so personally as we as buyers and sellers do have to be aware of the fakes out there but I'm still frustrated. The buyer is requesting a refund which of course I have done as she's not happy with the product and I would request the same in her shoes. But I'm still cranky, and thought you guys would understand this vent

Is the buyer returning the item?

I've heard of people stating "fake" to get their money back and then keeping both the money and the "fake" product (which they knew wasn't fake.)

Dont give a refund until you get the product back! Or if you bought it from a NP store then send a copy of the receipt and dont give a refund. You shouldnt refund if the item is legit hun.

Damn... she has said she will return the item at her own cost so I refunded her - now I wish I had waited til it came back! I don't have the receipt anymore but I did buy it direct at the Napoleon Perdis counter.
