oooh I am lemming this sooo bad! I tried it on yesterday and it's really pretty! I'm thinking of buying it too! I've heard on another board that it is very similar to MAC's Vanilla Pigment. HTH

I have both Albatross and Vanilla p/g, and I think that the color is really really similar of both of them

However, Vanilla p/g is much more iridescent and will probably show up muuuuuuch more if you're going to use it as a cheek highlighter. I use Albatross every day, even if I'm just throwing on some makeup, because it's so pretty and gives my skin a gorgeous dewy look when I use it on my cheekbones.

So I'd say go for it, unless you want a really intense look (I personally use Vanilla on my eyes pretty much exclusively) in which case you'll be fine with Vanilla. I'm sorry Nars is so expensive where you are! Haha I am really fair too with black (and green) hair and I have to say Albatross is perfect for my warm-toned skin. HTH!

I got it today!
Its a very natural golden sheen, you will not able to see it without the light hitting on you face. But if it does, WOW! Your face will glow like an angel.
Its not as sparkling as MAC ones (which can see the glitters), and not like BB shimmerbrick with very pearly shimmers. This one is the best friend of your blushes, especially the very pigmented ones. If can also help to tone down the blush if you apply too much.

I'll post a swatch within a few days if my camera can capture the effect
