Natural looking foundation out in the sun...

I've been using Everyday Minerals forever, I always thought it was my holy grail of foundation. Wrong. I was outside today and flipped out my mirror to put on some lipgloss and realized how horrible I looked! It looked flaky and dry and my pores looked enormous and I don't know if it oxidizes or what, but it was some terrible orange color! Obviously, the lights in my bathroom are terrible compared to the natural light outside.

Now that its summer, I'm going to be outside a LOT. I need a foundation that's going to look seamless and natural, like its not even there. Anything with a light to medium coverage, maybe a good tinted moisturizer? I'm definitely over powders and minerals.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to look like a clown out in the sunshine.

a tinted moisturizer is great for summer. Laura Mercier and Clarins make ones that I swear by.....

I don't know how your skin is...but mine's super oily, and tinted moisturizers just slide right off of me in the summer...usually for summertime I stick with my DiorSkin Forever foundation, or Smashbox High Definition Healthy FX foundation...both feel very light and stay on well, and they both have an SPF in them, Dior has 25, and Smashbox has 15. You should get some samples and try them out for a couple days before you commit to one...good luck!

I love Diorskin Nude!!!! It feels very light and looks really natural. It does not accentuate dry skin. It has spf 15 and provides medium coverage. Seriously I cannot say enough good things about this foundation - I could not even wear foundation on a regular basis before I found this because I always felt like I looked so unnatural. Both the liquid and loose powder are great.

Clinique makes a fantastic tinted moisturizer with SPF, which would be perfect since you are going to be out in the sun a lot. Their City Block line is all tinted as well. Its a very sheer coverage.

^ Agree with the Clinique rec, it's called Sheer Moisture Tint and it's fantastic!! Not oily or greasy in the slightest, unlike most TMs.

As for MAC you should try their face and body foundation or mineralize satin finish

They are both light coverage foundations that look natural in the sunlight.
