Need help building my MAC collection :)

Hi everyone,
my BF will be flying to the States in March and I asked him to bring back some stuff from MAC (waaay overpriced here - 21 USD for a Lipglass, for example). And I need your help picking the right things.

I did my own research already, checked out the MAC website and added several things to my basket (don't like the swatches at all) and also looked at the reviews on Makeup Alley. But I thought I'd ask you before I actually place the order. Maybe you can give me your suggestions. It just got sooo overwhelming looking at the website. LOL. Thanks in advance!!!!

1. eyeshadows:
I wanna get some eyeshadows for a neutral everyday eye. So one light (preferably close to my NC25-30 skintone) all over colour, one highlight colour and a darker crease colour. I want the finish to be satin or matte, nothing with glitters.
So far, I was thinking Shroom or Mylar (as an all over colour), Vanilla (I can't find it on the MAC website tho, has it been discontinued?) and Coquette as the crease colour. Any other/better suggestions?
2. eyeshadow base: I have Prep and Prime eyes and I hate it (too oily and my cheap eyeshadow base does more to keep my eyeshadow from creasing). I was reading hearing a lot of good things about paints and paint pots. I was thinking maybe Soft Ochre? I also heard Rubinesque is pretty good! But can I use it everyday for any colour? Which one would you suggest?
3. Brushes: I wanna get a good Shader brush or two that will pack on colour well and can be used for pressed eyeshadow as well as loose mineral eyeshadow and pigments. I heard great things about the 239 and 242...any others that you guys call your HG? Or are those two good one's to get.
I also need a blending brush.

217? Or another one?
Last but not least I need a good small blush brush. Most of my blushes are mmu, so I was thinking that maybe the 188 would be a good one. But I also want to be able to use it for pressed blushes. Would this one be good for this purpose or can you recommend another one?
4. Blushes: Yes, I decided I do wanna get some MAC blushes. These will be my first MAC blushes. Again I don't like anything with heavy shimmer or glitter in it. So prefarably Satin, Matte or Sheen finish. I want a light mauvish rosy colour and a nice pink. I was eyeing Well Dressed, Dollymix and Desert Rose. Which ones would you suggest? (Again NC25-30)

Hmm, I think that's it for now. Thank you sooo much!!!

1. eyeshadows:
all over colour: my fav. is Naked but it's a pigment.
one highlight colour: Shroom or Rice Paper.
darker crease colour: Embark or Espresso.

2. eyeshadow base: I love Rubinesque but if you only want one i would recommend Soft Ochres (because you said u prefer matt) I prefer Bare Study but find my self using Shimmersand Shadestick (lt's darker)

3. Brushes: a good Shader brush: hands down #239
for pigments i use #242
I also need a blending brush 217? go with #217 it's LOVE
I also think that you will need a crease brush check #226

I'm also NC30. here are my faves.

1. eyeshadows:

ALL OVER: naked lunch, crease : handwritten (it's a matte squared.. blends so beautifully) and espresso or sable, for highlight I would get shroom or dazzle light but if u dont like shimmery, stick to shroom or vanilla e/s
2. eyeshadow base: don't get soft ochre, us lady that are cool toned, soft ochre is too ashy/greenish yellowish on our skin. MY HG paintpot is painterly, it matches my eyelid perfectly and it's a matte, no shimmer in it.
3. Brushes: #239 to pack on lid color for shadows, #252 or #242 depending on lid space for pigments and velvet or lustre eyeshadows. #226 is LE so in march I assure you it will be gone. I'd really suggest #224 for blending (I can do a whole eye with this brush to be honest) for face, definitely #187 and 182 if you wear mineral foundation. FOR BLUSH, i suggest putting it on with 187 if you like sheer, or #129 for normal
4. Blushes: I love blushbaby for rose-ish color or peachtwist

I am an NC25 for reference

1. eyeshadows:
I wanna get some eyeshadows for a neutral everyday eye. So one light (preferably close to my NC25-30 skintone) all over colour, one highlight colour and a darker crease colour. I want the finish to be satin or matte, nothing with glitters.

I love brule as a highlight, it is slightly lighter than my natural skintone & has NO shimmer. I found Ricepaper, Shroom, and Vanilla too light & shimmery for my neutral matte look. I haven't found my HG crease colour, woodwinked is nice but has shimmer.

2. eyeshadow base: I have Prep and Prime eyes and I hate it (too oily and my cheap eyeshadow base does more to keep my eyeshadow from creasing). I was reading hearing a lot of good things about paints and paint pots. I was thinking maybe Soft Ochre? I also heard Rubinesque is pretty good! But can I use it everyday for any colour? I agree with a previous post about painterly paint pot, it is matte and very neutral that matches warmer skintones nicely.

217 is my HG blending brush, 239 is a good all around brush for applying color and is pretty easy to control your application of color. For my powder blushes I use my 109 but I think you can get a great application with the 188, I just don't have one so I couldn't tell you but I hear great things about it. I have the 187 and I love it so the 188 will probably win your heart over.

Blushbaby is my HG blush for that mauvish rosy flush and again it does not have any shimmer, you may want to think about pink swoon if you want a pink flushed cheek. For blushes you want to stick to sheertones they don't have any shimmer but still give a nice flush of color

Eyeshadows:
- All over: I love using Bamboo
- Highlight: Shroom
- Crease: Sable!

Eyeshadow base: I think Soft Ochre may be just a tad more versatile as it's a matte yellow-ish base. Perfect for any looks! Rubenesque is gorgeous but it's shimmery and is similar to Melon pigment in colour so if you're using it as a base, it may change the eyeshadow colour a bit.

Brushes: I use my 217 for everything! Packing on colour, crease, blending...

Blushes: You'll like Dollymix

Also, take a look at Dame

Thank you everyone for the great suggestions!

So far I picked:
shadows:
Shroom
Espresso
Amber Lights
Antiqued

base: i decided to get the two faced shadow insurance. just seems a little more versatile, i think.

brushes: 109, 168, 188, 217, 239, 242

as for the blushes: i am considering pink swoon and desire by Nars, but i still have a month till i order...so as my research goes on, i mite change my mind...again.

Dollymix has glitter in it. It is gorgeous though, you will love it. Light mauvish rosy color sounds like Stark Naked BPB (LE), but you could also get Coygirl which is a muave blush and has no shimmers in it.

Mocha would give a rosy color too, or Blushbaby which is more of a neutral rosy blush. As for pinks, Dollymix is my personal fave, or you could also check out Pink Swoon or Dame.
