Need help with Big T

I feel like I really went out of my "comfort zone" when I bought Big T e/s, lol. I usually stick to my neutrals (browns, golds, bronzes, peaches, etc.) with lots of sparkle. Think Retrospeck, All That Glitters, Woodwinked, etc. I just adore Big T's color but the payoff isn't as spectacular on my lids as it is in the pan.
Does anyone have any rec's as to what I can wear it with, like my sparkly neutrals? I'm wondering how I can pull off Big T with something like Honey Lust or Woodwinked, without having to layer on a pile of Big T and pack a shimmery netural on top of it.
Thanks!

actually if youre gonna use it wet, id try the outter corner of the pan because mac shadows arent meant to be used wet. it actually makes the shadow in the pan really.. nasty and hard.

i think you could do big t with club, which is also on the brown side. it would work with woodwinked also (maybe in the crease).

I like some of these matte-type colors layered over other neutral colors. Use something like Shroom or Mylar as a wash. Then put your color on. That helps with color payoff.

As for color placement, try putting the bright color (like Big T) in the inner corner of the lid, then use one of your more neutral colors around it: along the upper lash line, middle and outer portion of the lid, crease etc...

Be very careful using Matte colors wet: you could ruin the pot. I recommend picking the color up with the brush, then spritzing the brush with Fix+. But don't put the wet brush back into the pot! I use a 2nd brush to do the other eye.

I totally understand what you all mean about using a MAC shadow wet. That's how I ruined Nylon a long time ago, I had no idea. Definitely will remember to use a second brush for sure

EDIT!
I actually used it this morning! I put Honey Lust all over my lid, then topped with Knight Divine, and then I packed Big T over top of that and also used it as a liner on top & bottom lids...OMG, wow, this makes my eyes pop. I never thought I could pull off this color, but I totally can this way.
Thanks for all the rec's everyone, I will be trying it with some other colors this weekend

Don't know if you want a dramatic look but this is how I use Big T:
Big T on the lid and a little above the crease with sponge applicator
Cork in the crease
Shroom on the brow bone
Carbon in the outer corner
Line with black
I love this combo! HTH

For my prom look, I wanted to go neutral, with a little splash of colour, and my MA used woodwinked on my whole lid, and then put Bit T in my outer crease. Also, if you take an angle brush like the 266 and put a little of each colour under your eye (think a thin line under where your eyeliner goes) than the Big T will look a little more blue than it does over the Woodwinked, which I think is a pretty neat effect.

Awesome! I will try this when I get home

Also, if you wanna try to up the colour payoff, try pairing it with a blue or green shadestick. MAC doesn't really have a shadestick that's similar to Big T, but I've used it over Sea Me and Lucky Jade. It makes the Big T look a bit different, but the colour is so much more vibrant than it is with no shadestick. Or, try using Mixing Medium first (you can make your own by mixing 3 parts water with 1 part glycerin...try the first aisle for that one). Just pat a tiny tiny bit of the mixing medium onto your eyelids (you can also wet your brush with it first, but as previously mentioned, if you get your eyeshadows too wet they get all hard), then pat some Big T into it.
