and also i find my face too long and thin..is there a way of making my face look wider? Thanks !

Browns look nice and natural. If you want some extra punch, go with a coppery brown or something with shimmer.

I wear purple.. It's all about application. I use lavendar as a wash and a darker purple in the outer third. I also sometimes mix colors (a creamy shade all over the lid, purple in the outer third, taupe or another color on the reset of the eye.) Most colors can be worn by everyone, it's just a matter of technique and shade.

I love this site!!

As far as helping out with applications, there are tons of threads on how to apply e/s. Sorry I am unable to help out, I'm still trying to perfect my techniques as well

I'm a pink lover, personally, so I'm constantly doing those shades. I'm currently liking Gleam with Full Flame. Another current favorite is Girlie and Swiss Chocolate (newest love). Pinks look a little more natural, but it's all about the shades. Some will make you look awesome, others might make you look like you rubbed your eyes too much.

Everyone has their own favorite application techniques. It's all about how much you want on, the color depth, etc. Just experient and see what you like. I use my arm so I don't have to keep washing my face.
