need new foundation

i am in need of a new foundation. while MAC SFF works for me, I want to try something different. which MAC foundation would you recommend? I have normal skin type. my face gets oily in humid weather.

okay i maybe deviating a little but if u want a change thn how bout everyday minerals? m using sff too and really lemming for edm (i have vowed to finish sff before i buy another foundation). since u r considering changing foundation giv it a try.i have read gr8 reviews on it.

i am not very fond of edm. i can never get the coverage that i want and it just looks too powdery on me. i know that you can mix it with moisturizer but i would prefer to mix my moisturizer with a liquid foundation.

Get Estée Lauder Double Wear Light. It's a lot better than Studio Fix Fluid. While not a MAC foundation, I prefer the color selection and it's around the same price.

I just got Mac face and body foundation and Its so great!
It's not as sheer as Mac select tint but not as heavy as studio fix fluid. It's waterproof and sweatproof which is great for summer!

thanks. since i heard that F&B is a huge bottle, i don't think i will be getting it but i might just ask the MA for a sample.

i have and sometimes still use SFF. when i wanted a change, i went for the studio fix powder. works well since it's summer. i have normal skin in the winter, and combination in the summer that gets oily if i'm out too long. i like it because it has the same coverage as SFF, but is faster and easier. i agree w/ you on the everyday minerals. it just doesn't work for me. before i used MAC's studio fix fluid, i used benefit's playsticks. that works pretty well also. i might be getting it again to use as a concealer.

It depends what finish you're after. If you still want something matte, try MAC Studio Tech. If you're after more of a glowy finish, I'd go for Hyperreal.

Are you committed to using only MAC? I've had excellent results with Shiseido Dual Balancing foundations

My skin feels dry on my cheeks and very very oily on my t-zone, i find MAC STUDIO FIX FLUID just perfect!!!

yes i am committed to only using MAC because of the price. i know i can go to the drugstore to look but i hate keep going back to exchange it because the color isn't right. i have try a sample of Shiseido Dual Balancing but it gave me one huge red pimple after a day of use.
