I am a head over heals neutral lover. I'm all about the creams and browns and what not. I have a few greens ( my eyes are green) and what not but after looking at some of the looks you ladies have done so well I would like to ease into colors... What do you ladies recommend? TIA

purples and oranges/coppers go really well with green eyes.

I love neutrals too but MAC has lots of nice colours. Black tied with humid on top makes a really gorgeous dark green smokey eye and beautiful iris is pretty wearable too.

i personally dont care what eye colours go with what eyeshadow - something not too scary would be a colour like swish, and club is great too. parfait amour is nice also

you should try teal, clarity (blue, really pops ur eyes), aquadisiac, newly minted, freshwater (medium blue), parfait amour (purple), expensive pink, passionate (pink to red)..
honestly, I agree with Nzsallyb, don't care about what eye colors go with what shadows..

peaches & apricots & corals are a good way to branch out

those colors naturally compliment most skin tones
and i think they are opposite green on the color wheel
so they should make your green eyes pop

Paradisco goes on sheer so it's not scary for a beginner (pinky coral with gold)

Coral is pro color but I think Rule is a good sub (Rule is more orange... coral is more pink)
both are matte and can be layered under paradisco to give paradisco more of a punch

I agree with Shaquille ^^^... Expensive Pink is peachy with gold and is a veluxe pearl so it's an easy texture to work with and blends out well

Purples look really good with green eyes too... I would suggest a crease color like plum dressing or fig 1. That way you can add it to your neutral look and slowly ease yourself into color! thats what I did. Also humid and deep truth are good for this as well. Sumptous olive with a color like gorgeous gold would look awesome with your eyes and itsnt too "out there." I agree with peaches and corals as well, I love expensive pink, coppering, amberlights, coral.

I love Sumptuous Olive--It's great with neutrals! Nocturnelle is a fun color for something different and a little color too!

I never thought about corals, but that would look really nice if it's done right but it depends because of your hair color. When I think of purples I typically think of bold, dark purples because I'm fair skinned and blonde with green eyes but of courseee for you doll I would say that some really light lilac-y purples might look really nice with brown outer V's blended. Oooo yesss... Now I can't wait to get home b/c I think I have some fyrinnae purple samples for you! LOL
if not you alreadddy know whose goin shopping

I think a fun way to ease into color is by wearing a pop of color on the lower lashline. It could be eyeliner or shadow (or both), but it's fun and simple. It's one of my staple summer looks. I love something like Tan or Jardin Aires on the lid, with a bright green, blue, or purple on the bottom lashline. I always get compliments on this particular look!

You could also use a brighter shade on the lid, then a more neutral shade in the crease/outer V to keep it from being too bright.

I had to ease into colors myself. I'm still most comfortable in neutrals, but I'm almost equally comfy in colors now too. I just have to be in the mood for color, while neutrals are an every day kinda thing.
