I am NC45 I have a lot of neutrals but I am looking for mattes that would be good to pair with
Embark
Brown Down
Saddle
Brown Script

I have looked at the MAC combo list but wanted to know what would be good as a highlight and lid color to go with these. If you could suggest some tutorials that would be great

I'd suggest Handwritten for the crease and Tete a Tint for the lid. Blanc Type is a gorgeous highlighter, but I prefer to use a satiny/frosty highlighter when all the other colours are mattes. I use Shroom e/s or Fairylite pigment for that.

its great for inner corner or brow hilight and if you sweep all over the lid it makes your eyes look bigger and brighter

Brown Down and Blanc Type are handsdown, the best neutral mattes I have. I love using Blanc Type as a highlight. I am really not into shimmery highlights although I do use them. I also love to use Blanc Type as an all over lid color and Brown Down in the crease as a quick every day look. It really makes my "weird" brown eyes pop.

I'm a neutrals lover and prefer mattes... here's some of what I use all that you posted and tete a tint, soft brown, swiss chocolate, folie, soba, cork, haux, texture, I also use blunt and raizin blush as e/s... MSFN in dark and med/deep too. Some e/s may be satins can't remember but they're not glittery or much sheen @ all.
