Hey there... my name is Ruth... and I'm in the NYC Metro area... I work in fashion, and I suppose after many years of seeing people dress in fancy expensive clothes and have great makeup... I'm finally trying to catch up a bit (although I am certainly not trying to "fit in"), and work on my makeup application skills... I've always envied my friends that have those "perfect" eyes, etc... so now it's time for me to get with the program!
A good friend of mine used to work for MAC and she always used to rave about their products so after looking into it, I have to say, I totally love their colors and their product range... so now i'm slowly collecting bits and peices so I can finally get the look I'm searching for.
I also make jewlery, knit (although i'm very novice with it), write advice columns (mostly romance advice
) and other misc. literature, ride my bike whenever possible, and I've got a lot of tattoo work. I have AIM and such if anyone ever wants to chat!
I'm looking forward to learning a lot from the people here... it seems to me there are some really knowledgable folks here!
