well. I just broke up with my best friend since 5th or 6th grade/boyfriend of 15 months. we're 19 and 20 now. I've been feeling sad lately and talked to him about breaking up. we see a lot of things differently.. and he said that he doesn't feel mature enough for the kind of relationship I deserve right now. and he doesn't feel like it's fair to me. and more or less agreed that we should. and I'm in the mood for drastic hair change. as tends to happen with me after break-ups. anyhow! I've never dyed my hair in my life and I thought about bleaching it. but dye really scares me so I thought maybe I'll just chop it all off. I photoshopped some samplies. C:

I am sorry to read that you are separating from people that mattered to you. But sometimes the separation is necessary to your emotional growth. To go back to your hair, i don't think going blonde would flatter your complexion. You might want to get highlights or dye your hair so that although it is still black it gives reflections of a different colour( i really don't know how that is called but it very pretty) but talk about it with your hair stylist and good luck.

i think cutting it to the shoulders would be the best idea the ƒirst one is a little 2 short on you and i agree with the person above blonde wouldnt look right on you go for highlights.

Cutting it slightly shorter and maybe getting some long bangs that are easily swept to the side...rather than the shorties in the 1st pic....

def not blonde unless you lighten your eyebrows....(well at least not that colour...there probably is a blonde you could do...but i wouldnt recommend it as a first time...)

Hilights are awesome...(although I have never actually had them haah)

Oh I know that feeling

I got haircuts, dye jobs and piercings because of breakups.

I don't think you should go quite that short. Maybe something between chin and shoulder length, with face-framing layers. Some golden highlights would look nice.

boys are so difficult!

i really like the Pam Anderson hair on you...if you're going to go THAT light though i would suggest also bleaching your brows to a lighter brown

but as suggested, if you don't want to go all blonde, some highlights would be beautiful! or maybe go a medium golden brown with some blonde highlights and darker brown lowlights?

i definately wouldn't suggest going very short because after having long hair for a while, when you go way short you'll usually regret it. i sure as hell do
