I'm new here, first post, so Hi! Not so new to MMU. Have used BE for about 2 years and not happy with it anymore at all. Making me itch and while I read that MMU helps to clear skin, mine is still breaking out. I want to switch but there are a zillion lines out there. How do I know which one to choose? I see that several have free or cheap samples and I'm sitting down to order some of those tonight. I'm ordering from everydayminerals, aubreynicole, lauress (which seems a bit expensive), larenim (more expensive) and afterglow (way more expensive - might skip this one). I was set a couple weeks ago to order some joppa, but have seen nothing but complaints about their customer service, shipping and now some of their products. Not interested in ordering samples and waiting a month for them. Any other suggestions? I have very fair skin, but not hard to match. Some blemishes that need covering up, so coverage is important to me, but I don't want to look made up

Hi Lori and welcome! I've been here for a year, lurking mostly

but this place is really very useful for any makeup questions you might have. I've learned so much! Anyway, to answer your question, I'm a big fan of Everyday Minerals. It's BE quality without the itching bismuth. They have a separate concealer as well. Other MMU brands that you could try are Pure Luxe and Alima. Alima's too expensive for me, but I've tried Pure Luxe and it's nice if you want a completely matte finish. I've also heard some raves lately about UGlowGirl.
