New piercing & eyebrows and 2 fotds :D

Hey lovely specktra chickins! I went to mac earlier, so of course I had to try out my new colours! (not all of them though, as they wouldnt go at all well!) I also got a monroe piercing ^_^ I wanted it for ages, and today I just thought, "right thats it!" And off I went!

I also got my eyebrows threaded! Finally they had grown back enough! So painful though and I like to think I have a quite high pain tolerance

gorgeous looks, i must know something though, i have read about getting your eyebrows "threaded" in another person's post, what exactly does "threaded" mean in terms of your eyebrows?

i must be completely clueless when it comes to the brows since i never really mess with mine.

Yay get it done, I LOVE most piercings! I'd want to get more (originally I was going to get double monroes) but I'm job hunting so I thought one small monroe isn't too obvious, cos I can just take my lip piercing out and put a tiny ball on the monroe and its not too in your face (no pun intended!) I love nose piercings though, I think they look adorable!

Um, tbh, I'm not horribly impressed by the colour pay-off...they come out quite sheer. They are nice colours and good for wearing in the daytime, but if you want bright looks, you've gotta pile it on!

Ah thats good though, cos I messed mine up by playing with them too much! I got a bit pluck happy and they shap was ok if I pencilled them in, but if I left them alone, they were *so* patchy! 2 of my best friends mom's have *no* eyebrows because they plucked them so thin for so long they just don't grow anymore!

I'm not good at explaining, but I'll try! Basically the person doing your brows gets a piece of thin thread and they make a figure 8 with it somehow, and open and close each end alternately, and they roll it over your brows and take them out a few hairs at a time. It makes it a cleaner shape than plucking from what I can tell, and It lasts longer (so they told me!)

It hurt me a lot more than plucking, but not so bad I wouldn't do it again

I imagine waxing brows is far worse! But maybe thats just me?

Yes! I love it so much! I bought it and I thought...I'll never wear that its so sparkly and glittery, but I always wear it over CB96 and Vegas Volt to tone them down if I'm wearing them in the day, or with colourful eyes.

Do you have any of the others? which colours do you like? I've only got the Apricot, but I want more! Brownie looks a bit dark for me though, and Bronze...are they as dark as I imagine them? Having said that though, I could really blow some money on shimmer bricks! they are as great as everyone made out IMHO!
