Have any of you NW15's or 20's bought New Vegas? what does it do for your light skin tone? Does it show up too yellow? Let me know everyone, I'm debating on whether to buy it or not.

hi,

here are some picks of New Vegas over Studio Fix NW25.
I heard everyone rave about New Vegas so I didn't think twice about buying it. But when I tried it out at home, it didn't blend as well as Northern Lights and Global Glow. Those are still my favorites. I use the first one as a blush and the second one as a bronzer.

Because every MSF is different I added a picture of mine too. It subtle on skin, even on fair skin. It's a great highlighter, it's just a bit harder to blend for me and the golden glittery particles are very noticeable in my case. The glitter in my other MSF's are far less noticeable.
In the pics I tried to put New Vegas on my hand with a brush and with my fingertip.

In the meantime, I'm not disappointed, it's still great for an all over body glow, or over matte eyeshadow or even on lips.
Whatever I tried, with or without flash, the gold glittery particles are hard to see on a photograph.

In my opinion I'd rather try the new Beauty Powders in the hope that they will be easier to blend than New Vegas

I don't find it yellow at all and it does look nice with a light hand under blush or as a brow highlight. If I don't use it under a blush and don't buff it out it looks like sparkles exploded on my face.

Hilly thanks from a fellow NW20 girl for letting me know this. I knew I had a reason for passing it up

Thanks for this thread! I'm an NW20 and I just purchased New Vegas so I hope it works for me. I was planning on using it as a subtle highlighter.

Exactly! I'm very light (NW 100 Hyper Real--not sure what this translates to two digit foundations) and was very unsure of it when I received my order. So I took it to my local counter and asked the MA for help. She put it very light on just the cheekbone area and then sprayed some fix + which toned it down a bit. I also put it on under brush--with a light hand as Knoxydoll suggests. Otherwise it looks insanely sparkly. I am happy though to have finally jumped on the MSF bandwagon and was determined to make it work for me!!

But definitely am looking forward to seeing the beauty powders in person!
