New Vegas vs. Global Glow

I have global glow and i was thinking of getting New Vegas. can anyone tell me sort of the .. color that it puts on the skin? is it like a gold-y color? thanks

LOL that's funny, I just got New Vegas and was thinking about Global Glow. Anyway, New Vegas is a light gold, champagne kind of color. It doesn't have big gritty sparkles, it has a fine shimmer that looks glowy, but I still wouldn't recommend using it on the whole face (but that's just me). I'm an NW35 btw. And could you describe Global Glow to me?

i'm an NW45, and honestly, Global Glow doesn't show up that well. I've yet to use it on my whole face, but ... it kinda just makes me look not glowy, but oily in a sense? idk if that makes sense, but yea, lol. do you think i should get new vegas?

New Vegas is a light yellow gold with shimmer. It's smooth but not really chunky either. It has the same texture as Gold Deposit, if you are familiar with that.

I'd try it out in the store first. I think it'll either be too frosty or really pretty lol. It'd probably be best as a highlight on your skin and to sheer out blushes. I'm gunna use mine for those but I also use mine as a blush with dark eye makeup. And I may pass on Global Glow, it sounds like it'd be kinda like a bronzer on me, which I don't use.

I bought Global Glow and I returned it, because on me it was WAY too orange and dark. And it made me look sweaty. I didn't like it at all. I'm NW15. I exchanged it for Gold Spill which I love!

Global glow is a lot darker.. more of a bronze color, whereas New Vegas is VERYYY goldy. You could use Global Glow all over and then New Vegas as a highlight though

So then which MSFs would you recommend as using all over face shimmer sorta?

I don't think Global glow shows on NC 15 or NC 20 skintone. I think it gives faint shimmer with oily look after few hrs. doesn't it or am i the only one noticing this?

Someone on Specktra mentioned Lightscapade as "all over" msf but it give that oily look after hrs.

Are MSFs suppose to be like that?

I ordered New vegas just because I didn't want to miss out on MSFs. I think its one of those that I can use but I really don't see any color diff. with any msfs on skin.

New Vegas def. looks lighter 'goldier' than global glow to me. I shall see tomm when I get my pgk.

I was so excited about the New Vegas that just came out, and when I went to the mac store I went and grabbed it right away without testing it first cause I was scared they were going to be sold out. lol. So I got it and then was walking around and tested the tester on my hand and it was an ugly yellow with lots of very chunky glitter. I was expecting it to be a nice goldish color with smooth nice sheen but it wasn't so I put it back lol.

yea, New Vegas showed up with the most extreme amount of glitter. but with my whole "made up" face, i'm going to try it out. if its not what i'm lookin for, back to mac it will go, lol.

If that's what you're looking for you may consider searching for a used Gold Deposit.
