Hi everyone. I'm a makeup beginner so I try to follow youtube tutorials with the basics I have. Since I don't use much and stick to what works for me I'll probably never end up collections like a lot of members here. I love visiting the MAC boutiques though. The artists there will give me a bold lip, a smoky eye in a fun color, or a bright wash of blush. It always ends with a surprise and expands my comfort zone.
MUA was my beginners guide to pick out products. But lurking on this forum has been a great resource for building on that. There have been new brands I've learned about and some that I know better now to stay away from. The mineral repackaging drama from different indie companies over the years left me stunned. And there was certain examiner article with a still growing comments section that convinced me that it was time to register here. I'm sure I'll learn much more from the members here.
