Newbie....Looking for Advice Learning Materials

Hello Ladies! I am new to specktra, and so glad I found you. I want to become more knowledgeable in Make-Up Artistry. I am really good at reading books, and teaching myself. I would love to go to school, but there isn't one anywhere near me that has a program that has what I want. So I was wondering if anyone has advice on Books or Magazines, or any materials to help me learn more. Specifically Im looking to learn

Makeup Basics
Day, Night, Bridal, Advertising, Theater Makeup
Makeup Tools

all that good stuff.

Face Forward and Making Faces. Both books by Kevyn Aucoin.

And don't forget to check out videos in youtube.. they've got great online gurus there. Good luck!!

you should definitely checkout the videos on youtube. i think the videos will teach u better than the books coz u can actually see how its done.hope tht helps!
