newbie, needs advice, what eye shape do i have?

they are hooded. Try to use lighter shades to open up your eye more. Use a light highlight color on the browbone and inner corner. use a medium toned eyeshadow on the middle of the lid to the outer lid. And the darkest color on the outer corner of your eye. For your green eyes try lighter shades of plum, purple, mauve, pink, gray, and brown. I would also not tightline or line the inner rims of your eyes anything dark if you want to make your eyes appear larger, try a light lavender, light brown, cream or white to open them up a bit... Also curl your lashes before or after you put on mascara.

My mom also has hooded. This helps a lot because she always asks me what she should use.

the one tip i can suggest is to try and speed up the drying time of liquid liners because life can get real crazy real fast when you're headed out the door and realize you've created two sets of lids.
