Newer & Older Kitchmas?

A friend was telling me that there are two different versions of the Kitchmas pigment. An original one & a newer one that was released not too long ago. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the two of them & if there is a big difference which version is prefered the old or new one? Thanks!

Yeah, as far as I remember the Original Kitschmas was LE, but I believe last year Kitschmas returned as a permanant pigment. However, they are slightly different, mainly in that the old one was really sparkley, as opposed to shimmery. The one available now is more of a blah wash of pale grey-lilac IMO.

There are swatches of both on the Pigment precautions page.

Go to www.precautions.specktra.net then click on the magnifying glass icon next to where Kitschmas is listed.

I have both the older and the newer Kitschmas and I think the newer Kitschmas is slightly prettier.

There is slight difference as you can see by the precaution swatches.
I like the 2nd perm one better. It has less large shimmer bits in it. Plus it is not a lilac as the 1st one. 1 release one seemed like a frosty lilac on me and the 2nd one was more of lilac pink color.
