i hear springbean counters the color in your lips to make them look perfectly nude.

i personally like vgv l/s for a nude look without looking washed out.

I used to own C-Thru and it was my favorite for long time.

So i graduated to Myth lipstick, pairing it with C-thru over top.

I recently just stole Lust Lipglass from my sister, (she only used it once, not liking it at all)
Still using Myth.. I put one swipe of Lust on my lips.
Its the perfect nude, I love it. On the site, and in person, it looks like an ugly brownish pink, But.. You gotta try this combo!

This has taught me not to trust the swatches and in person, to actually try it on, before you say you don't like it

Definitely give VG V l/g a try...I hear it works for a large variety of skintones and natural lip colors

have the same problem w/ c-thru, an MA suggested that I mix it with some Mac clear gloss & this seems to counter some the 'pastiness' (sp?)

I am a nude l/s junkie... Here are my favorites: Gel, which is more of a warm nude with gold sparkle (frost), High Tea, a warm pinky nude (lustre) and I am in love with Propagate, a warm peach (frost, from Strange Hybrid) I also love Tanarama (frost) which is pretty light, but can be used over any lipstick to give it some warm light. I have also owned Frou, but that's more for colder weather when your skin is a little paler.

this is my least favorite question! nude lips are always gonna be different for everyone, everybody's coloring is different and not every color flatters every complexion.

however, i believe the next darkest shade from c-thru would perhaps be chai, if i'm not mistaken. i say just go to a counter/store and play around until you find something that works well for you.

you may want to try to viva glam lipglasses, they're pretty good nude colours!

I completely agree. This a nude shade with more of a flesh tone.

Nude lipsticks/glosses can vary greatly in terms of the complexions they suit. But, at the same time so many can be altered with the use of lip pencils. I thought C-thru looked horrible on me because it was so light but then I lined my lips with cork and blended it down and apllied c-thru and it looked great. I have also gotten in the habit of putting lipgloss on the back of my hand and once I get the liner blended the way I like then I pat and blend the gloss on over it. Works well for nude lips because you want that nude look without tons of goopey gloss on.
