Nice plum shade for blush?

I bought a MAC blush today, Plum Foolery. It is a Sheertone Shimmer blush, but tbh I'm not really thrilled with it. I don't know what it is, it looks sort of reddish on me. I'm fairly light skinned so I can't wear something over-the-top dark, but I guess I was looking for something...something else! I want a nice plum blush without looking bruised, and something that will go well for summer. Maybe a cooler pink-plum shade?

Any suggestions on which ones I should try?

Try Breath of Plum, I ususally don't look good with pinks since I'm warm but this is a kind of pinkish that looks good on me, I'm a NC20!

I didn't like the brownish tint to Flirt & Tease. I was actually looking at Breath of Plum but the MA sort of talked me into Plum Foolery. Dang, should have just gone with my gut instinct!

I'm quite pale and my closest thing to a plum that I can wear is Sin from NARS. Anything more purple or dusty than that and I start to look bruised or dirty. Check it out in person if you can.

#1) It's by Chanel. It's called Rose Dust and it's a new color.

#2) In M.A.C., I have Breath of Plum blush too. Due to my fairness, NW15, I have to use a very light hand with it. I rarely use it for that reason.

#3) Guerlain Eclat Blush in no. 255. I used this one a lot. It is soft. I really like their blushes.

#4) Updated - Prescriptives discontinued the color that I had in mind. However, there is a color called Poppy on their website. It may fit the description of what you desire, but I haven't seen this in person to give an adequate assessment of the color or texture.

#5) Lastly, Estee Lauder has one that is called Plum Nuance. This product lasted what seemed like forever for me, because I only needed a touch of it. I tried to locate some good pictures of this color online, but I was unsuccessful.

I don't think it's available at MAC anymore, but you might be able to find it here or on Ebay. A friend of mine was at a CCO and bought me Afterdusk from the Moonbathe collection. It's a sheertone, and it's a light plum with some shimmer. I tried it today for the first time and loved it. I also love the Gentle Mineralize blush. It's described as a "raspberry" but I definitely think it would be worth a look!

Plum du Bois from the Cult of Cherry collection is gorgeous. As it is with many shades - this looks like it could be quite muddy on the skin when you look at it in the pan, but I am NW20 and it is lovely. Worth a look.

Plum du Bois is the color i went for - very nice - i'm nw20 with blue gray eyes - it can look muddy- and a bit bruise-ish if I'm not careful. I usually have to buff it out to have it look perfect - but the little extra work is well worth it. I use this everyday now
