Nine Inch Nails on 8-18 in Dallas!!!

I wanted to post this earlier but I took over 1,000 photos. Sorting through them was tough.

Anyway...while I was in DFW a while back....on the 18th at the American Airlines Center, I got to see NIN!!!!!!

I am still SUPER DUPER excited! omg. It was one of the best shows ever. Love love loved the music (I'm a huge fan) and Trent was looking especially hot on stage.

Too bad I didn't get a chance to meet him. Someday I will! Just cause he is one of my favourite artists.

Anyway. The concert was amazing I have videos that I took too, but I don't think they can be posted here.

I have to say my favourite performances were the Frail and Hurt. Along with everything else, but those two had so much feeling behind them and I'm nuts about Trent's piano/keyboards playing.

The craziest moments were when Trent through a whole keyboard (with stand) clear across the stage! I was like...dang, he's been working out. Those things are SO heavy! And, I think they destroyed (very artfully I might add) three guitars.

Sad for guitars, amazing visual effects when they practically exploded.

On to the pictures:

This was during The Frail. Trent was backlit by a light green spotlight, with fog of course. <3

during an instrumental piece, the name of which has escaped my mind.

He hasn't toured AU in years. I saw NIN and Henry Rollins one after the other and I nearly died of joy.

lara - hehe. <3 Trent! He is just...such the ideal idea of a man for me....it almost makes me not want to meet him cause he is such an amazing concept in my head.

Sad that NIN hasn't been in AU in so long!!!!

Janice - I wish I could have gone to the Houston show too!!! Lucky!!! >.> I also wanna go to the Morrison, CO show...but unfortunately I have a presentation in one of my thesis classes that day. Totally can't skip that for NIN, but veeeerrrry tempting.

Funny because for a while, they were looking like the same person. I'm glad to see Trent is looking more like Trent. lol

They do put on a great show. I got to see them at a smaller venue years ago, and it was AMAZING. It was a surprise private show and I waited in line for hours to get a ticket! Yes, back in the day you had to wait in line!

Oh, good! I have not attempted it in a while. Me and the mister have missed out on shows trying to do it the old school way, because most of the tickets were sold online.

I think seeing Trent in his beefcake stage was a shock to me, I was so used to seeing him in his pale, wire-y, tight clothes way, I was like, "WHO is that? Why does he have those shorts on?"

haha, I like Trent no matter what he looks like, cause usually it's yummy.

Although, I'm not sure on his shorter hair....the longer hair was hottt stuff.

NIN toured Australia in May 2007. I went to one of their Melbourne shows. It was amazing but seriously over crowded... :/ Still, it was totally worth it >_< They should come out again soon!

I got to see them at Lollzpalooza- got in at the last minute during 'Discipline' thanks to a stranger who didn't want her bracelet anymore. They were phenominal, though Trent's voice was a bit rusty and his fauxhawk is moronic.

One of my favorite parts that they've been doing this tour has been the touch screen drum machine used at the beginning of 'Echoplex'.
