Non-Pro buing on Pro-site?

I'm sure this is covered somewhere else, so feel free to direct me there. Can a non-pro person buy items from the pro website? I've gathered that I could get pro items at a pro store as a non-pro; please correct me if I'm wrong.

If you're not a PRO Member, you can't buy things from their site. You can go to the PRO store or order from the PRO number though.

what's the point of not being able to buy off the pro website unless you're a pro member when you can call in an order or walk into a store?

Maybe because they automatically discount your purchase as soon as you add it to your cart? I'm not sure.

^^That and the convenience. I guess being able to shop online is an extra perk for being a pro card holder.

Plus everyone w/ a pro card has a discount so they dont have to make seperate kinds of accounts for different people. They would have to block off certian things for non card holders. The only thing they have to change from person to person on there now is the percentage of their discount which is probably pretty easy for them.

I know you can't order off the pro site unless you are a member and I once called the number adn was told I couldn't order there either. I usually just call a pro store and order from them.
