you wont need to reapply... it is safe to shave but you will have to put a light layer of moisturiser on after so it doesnt fade quick

if you wanna know anything else about fake tanning just PM me... ive used to many brands and i used to wear fake tan none stop for 2 years when i was younger

I think it depends on when you plan on shaving. If the lotion isn't all the way dry yet and you shave, you'll probably get some fading. If it's hours after it's developed I'm sure you'll be fine.

Try and shave before you apply your tanner next time, or if you forget, do what I do. I keep a gradual tanner on hand (Jergens, etc) and apply that on the areas you shaved. Helps a ton, and you don't get buildup that can occur by reapplying a full strength self tanner. Since shaving doesn't take a lot of dead skin off, a gradual tanner is usually all you need

I agree, shave before tanning (the day before ideally)

When I've shaved afterwards it has taken some of my tan off....

Shave or exfoliate definitely before applying the self tanner. It helps it go on more even and last longer. I shave usually everyday and it does take the tanner off a little bit, but if you are building your tan you should be applying it everyday anyway until you reach the level of darkness you want. Applying a moisturizer helps keep your tan too. There is a product by sally hansen that is supposed to prolong the life of your tan. I haven't used it, but here is a link: http://www.sallyhansen.com/product.cfm?product=154
