Nordies Event
If this is similar to the Nordstrom event that was done last summer (called "NEXT"), they bring in some MAC makeup artists who demo some looks (a dramatic and a neutral). Along the way, they do little "buying breaks" where they sort of want you to buy things. They bring in some pro products (pigments, pro bru$hes) which Nordstrom doesn't usually carry.
Overall, I thought it was pleasant to talk about mu for 2 hours. Most posters here probably already know how to do a smokey eye and apply fluidlines so I don't think you'll find their information payoff is really huge. You might pick up an extra idea or 2. They didn't discuss upcoming products. You will, however, probably nail the MAC trivia questions they ask (I won a CCB!) My 2 cents!
