Not liking my new highlights...need help..pics

I've been to 2 stylists now (within 3 months) with the same results. The first one I cannot really blame because I let her do what she thought would be good...which I think was copper highlights. But the second one, I specifically went to a pre-consultation to discuss what needed to be done to get away from the red/orange tones and go more blonde with cooler shades, both in the base and highlights

This time, she did more highlights and said she was using a cooler base color. Now to me, it looks warm, or am I just crazy? I have very pale skin with pinkish undertones and I really think what I need is a cooler/beige-ish pale blonde. That seems to look the best to my eye when I've tried various 'virtual makeover' tools.

Others suggest warmer tones, but I don't think that the warmer tones work for me...they wash me out and make me look ridiculous. Should I try to get it corrected or just live with it? If I tried to get it corrected now, would it be totally fried? It's in pretty good condition now. ugh....

I don't think it looks that bad at all, though! How long ago did you get your hair done? If it's only been a few days, perhaps you could wait a few more to see if it grows on you and if anyone else likes it. If you're still unhappy, I'd go ahead and get it fixed. Hopefully you'll get the results you've always wanted! good luck

They look warm but natural. If they bother you that much, I managed to correct my highlights once (orangey, ick) with a semi/demipermanent thing, like the Clairol Natural Instincts. If they bother you that much now, hot oiling your hair fades color faster and is good for it.

It does look like the stylist added some ash tones to cool it down, but overall it's more warm-toned. I don't think it looks bad, but if you're not happy you should contact the stylist and let her know. I would wait a while until you get it coloured again though, or you may overprocess your hair.

Yes, I agree. I think it looks natural, but it is def. more warm toned. Would she be able to use a toner to correct it?
