i agree... same stores as everywhere else but its in NYC!!!
here are a few if you really want
-MAC Soho - nothing special but i like the neighborhood its in... there are lots of shops there and around the corner is a sephora's
-Mac Pro on 22nd - and right up the block is ANOTHER Mac store... which is the one in the iron building!
-walk along 5th ave... there's a sephora... then there's make up in henri bendel's, saks, bergdorfs and along there you will also find tiffany's, louis, gucci, fendi.... de beers....
oh yeah if u do get out of manhattan there's a CCO in woodbury commons outlet!!! and i think another outlet long island but ive never been to that one!
dont know how long you will be staying but try to go to the different i should say neighborhoods//attractions such as
-the village...SOHO and NOHO... east and west... its very artsy and laid back feel... u might wanna go to st marks or west 4th bcoz wen i took my cousin she was AMAZED at how many things were open at 4 in the morning or how many tattoo spots were still tattooing ppl
-times square bcoz at night its sooo lit up! its really nice
-as ive mentioned the 5th ave for shopping or just window shopping, u can also go to madison too
-chinatown bcoz of the cheapeats and there's nothing like it...
-make ur way to central park! just bcoz...
-u can also go to the cheapeats food places open late like 53rd and 6th, its this umm cart that sells gyros and such... i suggest lamb, rice and salad w/ xtra white sauce... u gotta go... that place sometimes even tho its a blizzard outside the line is ridiculous and the food is amazing its only open from 7pm to the wee hours of the morning so if u get there earlier it might not be the same cart-
-there's also this spot called la esquina i think its on kenmare and its mexican food and their plato julia is amazing!
-cannot forget gray's papaya!! they have a recession special right now... that's if u like hotdogs...
those are just a few things off the top of my head.... i have you have lots of fun!!!
