I bought some more things while in Seattle (I love Ulta, they had a 3 for 2 offer on all NYX stuff

) but I got the blackbean jumbo eyepencil and it creased like a mofo

. I used UDPP underneath and it still creased - that's the first time something like that ever happened while using UDPP. I put purple eyeshadow over it (Inglot) and it looked great when I left, but when I got back from a night out my eyeshadow was all over the place

You need to blend the Jumbo Pencil out a little with your finger before you apply the eyeshadow, that makes it stick better, at least in my experience.

I had the same problem with the darker jumbo eye pencils. InspiredBlue is right, you have to Blend blend blend! I just use my finger or a 217 brush. Your finger will prob be easiest. And make sure you aren't using much of the product either. A little goes a long way, but it won't be as dark. That's the only thing I don't like about the darker shades of these- you have to blend them so much they end up fading a little. But if you're putting powder eyeshadow over top, it doesn't really make much of a difference.

BTW, I just used Horseraddish as liner under my eyes and it's sooooo pretty! Love that green color!

I got all that for $40 and got free shipping on top of that. How great! I swatched everything and I like them all so far. The lipgloss wands were kind of bent though. I can live with that. I also swatched the eyeshadow palettes and they are pretty good qaulity for only $8. The Carribean palette is really cute!! I love the colors...every neutral but buildable for a more smokey look. I wanted to try the other palettes but I couldn't find enough reviews about the Carribean palettes for the For your eyes only palettes. The lipsticks went on much smoother than I thought they would...thumbs up NYX on that one!!!

I too got Thalia during the CC sale. It's a great color! I wore it today with Pale Shrimp lipliner (not a perfect match, but close enough).

after MAC, NYX is definitely my favourite brand, especially when lipglosses and lipsticks are concerned. tea rose lipgloss in combination with power lipstick is one of my favourite lip looks

i love their eyeshadows also, but i have a problem with choosing since there are so many, and they all look so beautiful, not to mention how cheap they are

i want to try that famous concealer in the jar also. can anyone tell me a little bit more about it, please?

^^I've only tried it about twice and I think I got the wrong color. It is a bit to light. I may just use it for my undereyes. It dries pretty quickly but is really smooth when applied. I will update some more when I use it for the whole day. SOrry this is a crappy review lol

Okay so I used the concealer all day for work. It is a bit drying and it kind of creases by the end of the day. It just makes it look like you have some dry patches under your eye. It initially does feel creamy though but ughhh I don't know it just dries too fast lol. It looked good when I left for work but half way through the day it wore off. I don't think it is the best concealer but for $5 I guess you can't be too mad about it. You should all give it a try though. It may just be the way my skin is. =)

BTW I LOVE orange soda lipstick. Actually I love the feel of the lipsticks. Much smoother than I thought and the pigmentation is really good. Okay I'm done hahaha...I'm leaving this thread now.

I haven't tried the lipsticks but if their pigmentation is good and they are soft and creamy, what more could you want right

? I always have to apply my l/s a lot throughout the day anyway since I drink a ton of water and it always wears off lol

I Feel Like This is a STUPID ? but...

How do you sharpen a NYX Jumbo Pencil? I have one I'm using to practice a butterfly mask on my daughter's face. I've gotten down to the end of the tip, but don't know how to get more out of it. I know there's more in there (I got the bottom off that I thought was a twist bottom to push more product up but wasn't.). I feel this may have already been covered but I couldn't find it... HELP!

Lol I know what you mean. For $2 you can't beat that. I wore thalia today with smokey look lipgloss. It lasted for about 4 hours but I didn't drink anything maybe that's why. Hopefully you will love orange soda also. I want to try honey, pumpkin pie, and tea rose next. I was gonna get pumpkin pie but they were sold out when I ordered. They have it back in stock now but I think I will wait.

No question is ever stupid! I don't own any of the NYX pencils myself but I've seen them several times and my guess would be that you might have to get one of those eyeliner sharpeners that have the bigger opening. I have one from Cover Girl that I got AGES ago that had two sizes on it, one for regular sized pencils and one for larger ones. I'd check and see if they still sell one like that. I bet the drugstore or wherever you got the NYX probably has them since the larger pencils like that are more and more popular. Hope that helps!

I also have a sharpener I bought from Covergirl most of them come with the standard size hole, and a larger whole for big pencils

I had the same problem. I tried every sharpener in Sally's before finding this one. The pencil is not a standard size jumbo pencil. http://www.sallybeauty.com/Metal-Pencil-Sharpener/SBS-711050,default,pd.html.
This one does work on them.

Really? Wow, I didn't think they were bigger than regular "larger" sized pencils. Hmmm...

You know what, right after I wrote that response I checked the mail and my pencils came in (I ordered them off ebay) and I tried sharpening them in my Covergirl sharpener and it didn't work. lol now I feel stupid! Sorry for the misinformation! Looks like I need a new sharpener myself! lol by the way I did a few swatches and they work GREAT! First time using them, I ordered 6 for like 2 dollars each, I want more already...
