Ode to Lustreglass

Oh my god, where have these been all my mac life? These are permanent right?? Otherwise I am going to buy more tommorow. I love how sheer they are, and not nearly as sticky as lipglass. I got palatial and star nova, but I think I need sinnamon, opal, pinkarat, oh man, I need them all...............why have I never noticed these before??

Thats what I was thinking today... I love the brushes. They have now usurped shadow and are at the top of my makeup wish list (or will get list)

I loooove them, but they never look very different from one shade to the next on me. Venetian looks more intense, but spring bean, lustrewhite, wonderstruck, even opal look a liitle too similar on my pigmented lips. Any suggestions??

I don't like the lustreglasses for the same reason... they all kinda look the same. I need stuff that's more opaque for my lips, especially since they are dual-toned. I usually end up using a full coat of lipliner or lipstick under a lustreglass.

I have a newfound love of lusterglass too,... before they just didnt have much in the way of colors,.. so I bought one of the most opaque ones,.. Ornamental,.. beautiful bronzey color,.. and while it was super beautiful,.. I wasnt impressed,... it doesnt stay put and with it being a darker color it was very noticeable,... but the new ones really rock,.. I have found with lusterglass, if you are not a gloss junkie or a sparkle addict,.. then you might not be head over heels for them. I do use them over my prolongwear a lot to make the color vary,.. I use the prolongwear clear first to create the seal and then put the lusterglass over it,...

Luminary is soo gorgeous!!! So is flusterrose and sinnamon. I couldn't live without these! At first I didn't care for the brushes I was so used to the lipglass applicator but I soon get used to them and love them so!

I LOVE Star Nova, Love Nectar and Flusterose

I think that lustreglasses give a more "3-D" look than lipglasses.

Although, I can totally see that if you're not a sparkle fan that you wouldn't like them.

One of the things I like about the Lipglasses is that they come in different finishes - some frosty, some satin etc. but the lustreglasses are all quite sparkly.

Either way I love them and I WANT MORE!!!
