I did this really neat look last night and I didn't take a picture but it reminded me exactly of what an oil slick paint job looks like on a car.
This is a picture of what oilslick should look like.
This is a picture that I drew in paintshow to try to picture what I did. Granted there was some blending... I want to recreate it again so someday I might edit a real picture in here.
*All MAC unless noted*
I used Brassy Fluidline all over lids as a partial pase. Then I put Petticoat MSF as the highlighter. I outline edges in Luckyjade shadestick into a sort of "fat cat eye" look. I lined the inner eye with permaplum powerpoint for definition. I put a layer of Greensmoke eyeshadow all over lid. I then did the edge with Trax eyeshadow. I used Nars Night-star for above crease right up to browbone. I blended like crazy upward and outward until no lines were visible. I then added a little Idol Eyes eyeshadow to the inner eye to brighten it up.
It was a really awesome look... combined with my slightly oily eyelids if I swayed my head from one way to another it looked like the color change a glossy car paint would have. I wore it with a cool turquoise shirt and it worked really well =)
