Oily Face Help! Please!

Lately my face gets oily 30 minutes after i wash it. I can't stand it. Does anyone know any products/remedies to stop all this oil production, not just products that cover it up or soak it up. It's really annoying and embarrassing to have a shiny face all day. I don't know what's wrong with me but it just came out of the blue. Any advice or thoughts would be very helpful.

See a dermatologist? They can prescibe you with some medications/creams to apply.

I have super oily face too. I'm now using a cleanser for oily face plus a cream (sorry I'm not too sure what it is) to apply at night. Seems to be helping.

I have a question on oily face though. What face makeup should I be using? Will Prep+Prime face really work? I also want to try Studio Fix powder but I've heard horror stories of people breaking out from it, so I'm kinda scared. My pimples are bad enough as it is, I don't want more breakouts.

I use Smashbox Photo Finish Primer in Light and it does some light oil controlling.. I like it a lot. I also exfoliate and moisturize a lot so that my skin doesn't feel the need to overproduce.

I use Lush's Tea Tree Water as toner all year round and it is amazing, and on warmer days I use their Enzymion. On cold, dry days I use Philosophy Hope in a Jar.

It sounds odd but are you making sure that you moisturize after you cleanse and tone? I have fairly oily skin and I know that unless I replace the moisture from cleansing and toning my skin works overtime to produce even more oil!

I use Origins A Perfect World Cleanser and Oil Refining Toner, followed by Olay hydrating lotion (only in the winter, in the summer I use Olay sensitive with spf).

You could also maybe try a mattifying lotion? I've heard good things about MAC's Oil Control Lotion and Origins' "Matte Scientist" and "Zero Oil" products.
