Hey everybody!!

I need help with my skin:

I allways had a really dry skin, but I've been working in a hospital for a year now, and my skin is getting super oily, and I'm pretty sure it's because of the airconditioning. No I am pretty new with this, so I need your help!

this is the skincare I'm using (since yesterday, and it seems to keep me pretty shinefree, but I must test it at work yet):
Vichi detoxifying Rinse-off Foam Cleanser, then I use Hydra-Fresh detoxifying Toner, and after that I am using a moisturizer, but I wanna buy one from vichi as well.
I'm still doubtfull which one I want to buy but I'll figure that out...

now my question is: how do I keep my face shine free the whole day?? On work days I usually do my makeup at 7am(including blot powder), and by noon my face is a shiny mess. how do you keep your face matte??

thanks for your help!!

It's sooooo hard. You really can't keep oily skin shine free, (I asked my aesthitician friend.) The reason your skin is so oily may be because it's actually dehyrated. When your skin is super dry, it produces tons of sebum to help make up for it's lost moisture. However, your skin could just be oily. There are only so many things you can do for oily skin:

-Use a cleanser with clay in it, preferrably white china clay.
-Use a mattifying toner, preferrably a dual phase one with a powder that you shake to mix.
-Use a mattifying/hydrating moisturizer in the day time, but a deeply hydrating moisturizer system (a serum and a cream) at night. Feeding your skin intense moisture like this will help trick it into thinking your skin is still hydrated in the day time. Go easy on the amount of product you use, though. Your skin rejects any excess.
-Apply Smashbox Photofinish Primer after your daytime moisturizer to help lock the hydration in your skin so it's active and working all day long.
-Use an intense hydrating mask 2x a week, and a microdermabrasion mask/system 2x different nights a week.
-Bring blotting sheets/blot film with you everywhere.
-Blot Powder from MAC or Photo Matte Powder from Smashbox work wonders for touch ups.

That's all I know, girlfriend! Best of luck!
