Ok.. HELP! I'm desperate.

Ok, here's the story... in January of 2005, my friend Jacquie and I went to Sephora in Las Vegas. Well, we had a coupon for a free Sephora tote bag with a free makeover, so.. of course we did it! We got the tote bags, they were great, nice thick canvas totes with a leather (pleather?) handle and black and white striped interior. Well, I'm an idiot, I accidently got detergent on hers without knowing it, and it has made the surface a marbled whitish mess. We've tried washing it a few times, to no avail. I am desperate to get a replacement bag for her from Sephora- the same one if possible, since she really liked it. Does anyone know if they still carry these (I searched their site and didnt find one, searched ebay, too), or does someone perhaps HAVE one they're willing to part with? lol

I'm not sure if this should go in the want ads, since its more question than want ad, but mods, if you need to move it, I understand.

Why don't you just give her yours? Or is it something you totally love and couldn't replace with a new one for yourself?

mine isnt in the greatest of condition either, but its being considered as a last resort. I don't really want to give her a bag that I've heavily used for 1.5 years, since its slightly beat up. I'd rather get a NEW one for her, since its not her fault hers got ruined.

If so...I would just explain (again...since if she does know what happened..you've probably already said you're sorry) that it was an accident, and go out and buy her the nicest bag you can afford. If she's a good friend, she might be bummed 'bout the bag..but she'll understand (and hopefully love her new bag!).

Can you use black fabric dye to even out the discoloration?

yes, she knows about it, and she understands, but I still feel horrible, so I want to replace it for her...
