OK...I have a new hobby....

I took a knitting class today and I love it!!!! It's something new to add to my growing list of hobbies!!! My first project: Scarf (it was 95 degrees here in beautiful Austin, Tejas today---go figure) Next sweater, purse, PONCHO hahahahahaha!!!!!

A new yarn shop opened near my house and they offered classes, so I said what the hell.
They have the most amazing yarn I have every seen!!!! Every color, texture, anything imaginable

I can't wait until I am able to knit faster and move on to bigger projects---especially felting. Yiiiiipppeeee I can't wait!!!

lol! my mom knits stuff all the time..in the winter she knitted a hat for our pet pig! please show us pics when your done! all that stuff is so cute

Knitting is a great thing to do! My mom taught me when I was 11 and I've been doing it since. I have several things of yarn here at work and lots of diff. sized needles for when I'm stressed out...

When you get good, it's great for making things for friends...you can donate scarves to charities/food and clothing drives, etc...

Congrats on your new hobby!
