Old package e/s

I saw a few old package e/s on the auction, They are Black-Berry, Folie, Paisley, Frill, Limit, Ocher, Hemp and Black Gold. I bought them from Canada last year, seller said.

I would like to know when MAC changed package of e/s, before 2002 or early?

I started buying in like 1999 I believe. And back at that point it was still the same packaging that it is now. So it had to be earlier than that. I'm sure someone else can give you a more exact answer though.

Thinking back on my history of MAC purchasing and looking at what I have, the transition from screw top shadows to flip tops happened sometime in late 1997-1998. That is also the time the lipsticks were no longer sold in the original black flat casing and went to the dark grey bullet packaging. I did not buy as consistently back then, but that's when the differences began....

1997/1998, depending on which market you were in at the time. There were a series of major MAC packaging redesigns around then.
