Have you used them? Did you wash them and let them dry before usage? What exactly is wrong with them?

I had them for 1 whole week... since I'm new I used the set as a chance to try MAC brushes and I didn't like the set either so I took them back and got 1 187...

That is true. It's kind of crappy how the quality is downgraded with the brush sets, but they're beginner brushes for me, so it's cool. I'll eventually upgrade to the real deal.

I really liked the advanced brush set. The quality is so comparable to full size unlike other holiday sets ive had in the past.

HOliday brush sets are low quality because of mass production. In essence you get what you pay for, thats why I just stick to full size. They make a good gift though.

Yeah, I wanted to like this set, and I do, sort of. For it's price though, not so much love. I've tried tomake it work and it's just not. The only thing I really like about the set is the bag and that's not really worth the price tag. >_<

i got the advanced set from colour forms mainly because i wanted to try the 187. i'm not impressed witht the mini 187, but the rest of the brushes are fine by me, especially for the price.

if you return them, they'll damage them out and they'll go to waste. you can always sell them online, but you probably won't recoup what you paid for them...both are viable options.

I don't think they're that awful.

I love my SE 219s, 239s, and 129s. The 266SEs, 212, and 316s are handy as well. I honestly dislike the 187, and 168 SEs though.
