Hola folks,
I want to start keeping a make up journal for my own reference. preferably free, but i don't mind paying as long as it is kept private.
Can anyone suggest a good website for this. I have Photobucket but there isn't anywhere to add a text file as to say what was used etc.

I hope this is the right section...

I think you can make your Live Journal page private or by invite only?
Here's what it says about Privacy on their site:

Privacy
You control:
*Who can see each individual entry.
*Who can see your contact information.
*Who can text message you.
*Who can leave comments, and whose comments are screened
pending your approval.
*Who can participate in individual polls.
*Ban other users from your journal or community.

Right - you can make posts "private" so that only you can see them, "friends only" so that only people on your friends list can see them and then you can create custom friends list filters so that if there's something you want to say but don't want X or Y person to see it, you can filter them out of your posts.

If you have a paid Livejournal account, they have a thing called Scrapbook which hosts pictures that you can set the privayc settings on, like LJ posts themselves. You can also annotate and then you can sort into albums - though I think you can only post them in an LJ post.

I really like Livejournal for privacy purposes. If you're willing to pay or have free photo hosting, I think it would suit your needs well.

Livejoural has a private setting, which will lock your posts so only you can see them. Xanga also does the same thing. Greatestjournal.com has free photo hosting, with the option of making both journal entries and photos private.

hmm...well Yahoo has a pic site. If you go to the main site click on Photos and just sign in using your Yahoo account. It's free and you can keep it private. Plus you can upload as many pics as you like. You can put text under the pics with like a title and description. If you click on the link in my sig. where it says my album....etc... you can see what one looks like. I have some set up for viewing but I also have ones that are private. It's nice because right now I have like 20 different albums on one account but the only ones that the "public" can view are the ones you will see. I have ones set up for my family and ones that only I can see. It's easy to set up and free.
