Only one eyeshadow??

I know that mostly everyone likes to apply different shadows and blend them. My question is, do you guys ever just use one color and thats it??

sometimes i dont have time to apply a lot of makeup and i just wanna throw a color from my lashline up to my crease(no highlight, no other colors), but i'm just wondering if you guys ever do this, or if you just rather do more colors/more perfected look?

When I don't have time, I use either Woodwinked or Naked Lunch eyeshadows. For a month or so, I used Kid eyeshadow too.

I do this all the time when I'm working. I don't have time to be using 10 different shades. When I do have time, my max is about 3. I just don't have patience for all those shadows!

When I'm not trying too hard, I like to use two, one all over (like Nylon or Naked Lunch or Phloof) and a little darker one in the crease (like Satin Taupe or Fertile). Nothing wild.

I like the L'Oreal HIP duos in Dynamic and Wicked for those days too.

Yeah, I do it all the time... I use natural- looking (pinkish-brownish e/s is 'natural' for my skintone)eye-shadow and line my eyes (above lashes) with black pencil.

Sure, I do that sometimes. The mineralize eyeshadows from Flashtronic are really good on their own.

I do it too - when I'm really busy Goldenaire piggie is the one I always grab!

I do that when I don't have the time or when I'm doing a look with very dramatic lips (i.e. bold/vampy red). I usually use a neutral (most likely champagne, pale taupe or pale pinky-peach). Otherwise, I'll use a lid color and a crease color (that' not too dark, so it makes blending easier and quicker) when I'm on the run

I do that a few times a week especially during the week. I never wake up in enough time to do my eyes they way I like. I usually use soft colours when I use one. Something like a pink, brown, or the Showflower quad is great for a one shadow look. I also like to use only powder, blush and mascara. It is a really fresh look.

My simple look is Naked Lunch from lashes to brow, Patina or Sumptuous Olive in the crease and then Sketch as a liner.

I do this all the time, it is just so easy. A sheer wash of All that Glitters, or Vanilla pig., anything soft and shimmery works for me.

I would grab dark colour pencils and smudge along lash line, top with some brownish or greenish or purplish to finish the look. If one more colour is allowed, highlighter, like retrospeck to finish the look.

Makeup doesn't have to be all complicated and fancy to be a successful look.
