OOHH!! High School Love!

I'm in a predicament. There are two boys that I'm interested in, but I can only have one (well...DUH) and I don't know which one I should go for.

The first boy is (we'll call him Paul) really creative and artsy. I don't really know him very well since we don't have any classes together. I think he's really interesting and definitely the bad boy of his group. I liked him first because he is really, really, REALLY interesting (it's like I want to dissect him or something!

). He's got a kind of Aura about him that kind of makes him unapproachable for a shy girlie like me. He's totally a hippie.

I think he fancies one of my best friends though.

Next we have Matt. Matt's REALLY tall. (hehe! just had to get that out there) He's weird and artsy and funny and a total nerd (like me! ...but I know more about computers! ^_^). We have similar interests and even share a class (so I know him better

if you need any more info just ask me! I kind of did this post on a whim, so forgive me if it's not really informative.

You should probably attempt to hang out with each of them outside of school-to see how they are in real life...There's no reason why you can't be friends with both of them & then if something works out with one of them then that's a plus for you.
It's my experience that you don't want to go into a situation looking super desperate or trying to force something when it's not there-you will only end up hurt in the end.

Matt sounds better to me... He shares more of your interests, always an important thing! Plus you have opprotunities to talk to him. And... if he already fancies you...

well what year are you in? maybe you can have classes with paul later on or something. theres no reason why you shouldnt just try to get to know him anyway.

but if you think he likes your friend. then dont talk to him yet, cause then hell think your talking to him for "her". thats not good.

i did that and got totally left behind. but oh wells.

I have to say Matt sounds better to me as well. But, I agree you should try to get to know them, at least get their screen names for some chat program to find out more about them. Most importantly... don't worry about who likes you or who... go for the one you like.

high school isn't real life, there's nothing wrong with going out with each of them outside of classes to get to know each of them better.

it's not like you're planning to get married tomorrow, so i say go on a couple dates with each of them and see where the connection is!
